COVID-19 Community Update | January 2022
As we face the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we continue to align our policies with CDC and state regulations and guidelines, as well as data regarding transmission within the greater Austin area. Our primary goal is to protect YOU – the Austin Simply Fit community.
According to local data, Austin has returned to Stage 5. Under these guidelines, it is recommended that everyone, regardless of vaccination status, wear a mask while indoors.
Effective January 8, masks will be mandatory for trainers and clients inside ASF facilities. All Austin Simply Fit trainers and clients must be in compliance to be onsite training at an Austin Simply Fit studio.
The Top Level:
- Effective January 8, clients and trainers will be required to wear masks.
- Clients will be screened for symptoms via verbal questionnaire before entering the facility.
- Trainers will check the client’s temperature with a no touch thermometer. If a client is 100 or higher, they cannot enter the facility.
- Any clients who have tested positive for COVID-19 must either wait a minimum of 7 days and get a negative test result, or wait 10 days without a follow up test before returning to the facility. In either case, they must also remain symptom free for no less than 48 hours, without the use of fever reducing medications.
