This month’s client highlight, Guhan Venguswamy, is a longtime client of Eric Brooks. Guhan has been working hard for the past four years, changing his body composition and improving his functional movement for golf. We’re proud of how far he’s come and we look forward to seeing his continued success!
ATHLETE OF THE MONTH: Guhan Venguswamy
From Guhan’s trainer, Eric Brooks:
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Guhan for four years, and during this time, he has consistently demonstrated hard work, dedication, and commitment to his fitness journey. He has been incredibly coachable, always open to making the necessary adjustments to reach his goals. It’s been rewarding to see his progress not only in fitness but also in all aspects of his life. Guhan has become a good friend, and I look forward to his continued growth both in and outside the gym.
Here are Guhan’s thoughts on his training:
What do you enjoy most about working with your trainer at ASF?
Eric keeps the workouts ever changing and targeted for the goals we are setting. I really enjoy getting to do new movements that help me achieve my goals for weight loss, strength, and movement for golf. He takes the time to explain how the exercises improve all of these functions while keeping it entertaining and fun.
What have you been most proud of since you started training?
I have been most proud of the consistency we’ve had over the last 4 years. This is by far the best I’ve felt in a long time, and the most consistent workout I’ve done since high school. Its been amazing to see consistent progress towards my goals.
What are you looking forward to?
I’m looking forward to continuing to hit my weight loss goals and putting on more muscle. I’m also looking forward to the improvements in my golf game and how the strength and flexibility helps there.
