When and why did you come to Austin?
I came to Austin for the first time when I was 19 years old to compete in my second competitive bodybuilding show.
What is your background? How did you get into personal training?
My whole life I’ve been an athlete. I’m blessed to have been able to lean on fitness from a young age. My senior year of high school, I finished my wrestling season and began my competitive bodybuilding career. This is where my love for fitness began to flourish. Before I graduated high school I was a certified personal trainer. I’m very grateful to have found my passion at such a young age, and I’m so excited to share all the knowledge I’ve acquired since then with as many individuals as I possibly can.
Tell us about your current fitness goals and training.
My current training regimen consists of exercises that help refine my muscle imbalances as well as enhance overall mobility to improve my quality of life and help prevent future injuries.
What is the most common fitness myth you work through with your clients?
Cardio is the only way to lose weight. Overemphasizing cardio as the sole method for weight loss, neglecting strength training.
What do you want your clients to take away from each training session with you?
After each training session with me I want my clients to walk away feeling proud of themselves. By choosing to make the commitment to better their lives with a consistent fitness routine, EVERY client deserves the right to feel proud of themselves.
What sets you apart from other fitness professionals?
My commitment to comprehensive wellness through a personalized, holistic, and integrative approach distinguishes my training philosophy from that of other personal trainers.
How do you, personally, define success?
Success blooms from the art of showing up and painting each moment with the colors of your best self.
