CLIENT HIGHLIGHT | NOVEMBER 2026

Client highlight graphicThis month’s Client Highlight, Emily Good, has been training hard as she prepares to welcome a new baby! She has been building strength and working on her form so she can be powerful and capable as she moves through these big life changes. Her trainer Jackie Tey is proud of her, and we are too! Congrats, Emily!

Athlete of the Month: Emily Good

Here’s what Jackie told us about Emily:

I chose Emily because of her dedication, consistency, accountability, and great attitude. She is committed to the work inside AND outside of the gym. She truly cares about performing everything with as much intention and accuracy as she can. Her effort is admirable and she comes in ready to give 100% every day.

She is currently in her third trimester of pregnancy, and she really set herself up for success by building a strong foundation in her training beforehand. Pregnancy has thrown a lot at her and we have adapted with each stage, but she never fails to put in her best effort. I love watching her grow as an athlete and watching her confidence in herself grow!

Here is what Emily had to say about working with Jackie:

What do you enjoy most about working with your trainer at ASF? Every session with Jackie is fun, motivating and over way too soon! I love how she pushes me to be the best version of myself while also meeting me where I’m at on tougher days. I can be hard on myself, so having someone in my corner who believes in me, keeps me safe, and helps me build strength and confidence while perfecting my form makes all the difference. She challenges me in the best way, and I always leave feeling stronger than when I walked in.

What have you been most proud of since you started training? When I joined ASF, I was someone who had always been active but honestly hated gyms. I primarily wanted to follow my doctor’s advice to start strength training and invest in my long-term health, but I had no idea where to begin or just how much I would learn along the way. I’m most proud of how I’ve embraced the process, not just by sticking to a routine, but by staying curious, challenging myself and learning to enjoy something I never thought I would.

ASF has genuinely changed my life for the better, and I saw that firsthand when I started IVF and felt like I was going into that journey stronger and better prepared. Continuing to work out throughout pregnancy and adapting my workouts to meet my needs is another source of pride. It’s been a great reminder of how much stronger I am—physically and mentally—than when I started.

What are you looking forward to? Can I say introducing my baby girl to Jackie?!

Beyond that, I can’t wait to find my way back to ASF postpartum and discover what this next chapter of my strength journey looks like. I know it’ll look a little different, but I’m excited to challenge myself in new ways, keep getting stronger and stay connected to the ASF community.
